Can you share a bit about your background and how you came to join Credo?
I joined the team in January 2023, so I’m still fairly new here. Before coming on board, I spent a bit more than four years at Pareto, focusing on bond financing for infrastructure and commercial real estate. Transitioning here was a change that brought me closer to working with founders and diverse personalities, which I find to be incredibly fulfilling.
What has been one of your key projects since starting here?
Right from the start, I was involved with the establishment of Koble in Denmark, which we closed in January 2023. It's been like a startup experience, as we didn't have a fully established management initially. I've had to be very hands-on together with the rest of the team, which has been both challenging and a lot of fun.
How do you find working in such a dynamic environment?
It’s exhilarating. The unpredictability and the need to be adaptable are aspects I really enjoy. Being part of creating something new and seeing the direct impact of our work is highly motivating.
The human element is what excites me the most – interacting with founders, dealing with the complexity of business, and being able to witness and contribute to growth and change are what I find most rewarding.
What does a typical day look like for you?
There really isn't a "typical" day. My days are a blend of strategic planning, operational tasks, and everything in between. From marketing and branding efforts to strategic management meetings and solving practical issues for our companies, it's always varied.
And what about a not-so-typical day?
I recently went on a kick-off trip to Norefjell together with our newest portfolio company. Not-so-typical, but definitely insightful and fun. In general, I would say that the days are so varied that it is more difficult to say what is typical.
Outside of work, where can we find you?
When I'm not at work, I'm usually spending time with friends, my boyfriend, and family. I enjoy dining out, reading books, and simply enjoying life. Though I must admit, I haven't had much time for reading lately.
What do you think others might be surprised to learn about you?
Despite being a social person, I really enjoy spending time alone.
How do you challenge yourself?
I challenge myself by saying yes to things I've never done before and things I am afraid of. I believe in stepping out of my comfort zone and trying new things, even if they're daunting. This approach has led to a lot of growth and learning.
And now for our classic last question: which three emojis would you say describe you the best?
